Will it go off accidentally?
It is designed to activate on direct flame contact, not normal room temperature. Avoid unsuitable heat sources and follow the supplied instructions.
Does it replace a normal extinguisher?
No — it's an extra early-stage layer. Keep smoke alarms, compliant extinguishers and your evacuation plan in place.
How long does it last?
Supplier-listed 3-year service life. Replace after expiry or after any activation — the date is printed on the unit's label.
What's in the box?
Hanging model: 1 × 1.3kg ball (hangs from a suitable hook, rack not included). Rack model: 1 × ball + 1 × wall-mount rack. Both include instructions.
A fire ball does not replace smoke alarms, compliant extinguishers, fire blankets, an evacuation plan or calling 000.
